Speaking Engagements

Many people understand that learning is a lifelong pursuit.  I have had the opportunity to give talks and workshops spanning a wide variety of topics of interest in both psychology and Torah. These talks are designed to provide information about pressing issues in the community, such as child abuse prevention, challenges with substance use, relationship development, inclusiveness toward those with disabilities, and coping in the aftermath of traumatic experiences.

Other talks provide thought-provoking perspectives on Torah and psychology that can be appreciated by people with varying levels of comfort with traditional Jewish texts.  A small sample of talks that I have delivered recently include “Gratitude in Positive Psychology and the Talmud”; “Microaggressions in Halacha”; and “Relative Deprivation: Perspectives from the Sages.”
